The Garfield Football Team is ranked #6 in the state for 3A Teams in the latest preseason poll.

Congratulations to Garfield Wide Receiver Tre’Shaun Harrison for being named Offensive Player of the Year for the Metro League’s Valley Division.

Congratulations to Coach Joey Thomas for being named Coach of the Year for the Metro League’s Valley Division.

The Garfield Football Team was knocked out of the Metro League Playoffs with a 63 – 45 loss to Lynnwood. The team went 8 – 0 until losing the last two games.

The team showed huge improvement over previous years and is already looking forward to the 2017 season.

Last night the Garfield HS Football team beat Rainier Beach HS 51 – 21 and remain undefeated for the season at 8 – 0. Next week they will face #1 ranked O’Dea for the Metro League championship. Come out and support the team.
